About the event
The book we will be using through the fall is Slaying the Giants in Your Life by David Jeremiah. The 12 "giants" introduced in this book are real obstacles we face in life and each have the potential to drag us down. With God's Word as our guide and source of truth, along with some helpful insights from Dr. Jeremiah, we'll work through these challenges as we encourage and pray for each other.
Who are these GIANTS you ask?! (1) Fear, (2) Discouragement, (3) Loneliness, (4) Worry, (5) Guilt, (6)Temptation, (7) Anger, (8) Resentment, (9) Doubts, (10) Procrastination, (11) Failure, (12) Jealousy. Many great men & women of the Bible encountered these giants but God enabled them to win the battles. He can do the same for us and I can't wait for our group to begin!!
